I suppose the simplest way to get you book in front of people is to get yourself a nice lawsuit started over it. Maybe a story about a President of the USA who was a misogynist egomaniac, who was heavily in debt to a foreign power and surrounded himself with yes men.... Fictional of course. Like that could ever happen.. You get the idea.😉

The problem is that few good writers are good at self-promotion. In fact, many people would never have resorted to writing at all if they'd had strong social skills in the first place.
