Sitting here, lost in my thoughts
Part of me knows what has gone wrong in the past
Blame on both sides, which brought us to our knees

Not knowing what day comes next
Lost in the moment and not knowing how to get back
Finding no comfort that I can see

I only wish we could have been different

But then you left and did not say goodbye

But I was so blind I could not see
Looking to the future and not seeing what has been in the past

Hard to hold anything in other than sadness
