Long slow journey to come

The early morning sun rising
The heat climbing as i sit and wait
The journey ahead of me, seeming far too long

People all around and lost in their own worlds
A sudden shunt and were on the move
Rolling over the tracks and struggling to keep my eyes open wide

The first step in the way ahead
Got to stay focussed and keep my cool
Long slow journal to come

That's nice that!!! Makes me think of trying to drag myself through the day after a night of little sleep.

@Allelse Thank you, that was me trying to get home yesterday, needed the distraction from the other passengers and that was me trying to drag myself through getting home after being at work, so I get exactly where you are coming from

@Reaverwolf On public transport? Yeah there's something about that end of day UGH!!! When you're stuck on public transport that can make you feel all writery.
