@Stereoguy Oh come on, don’t you ever get excited for a little bit of snow? Do you rarely ever have snow there? a few flakes at least.

@Stereoguy Colorado, I heard that their kind of cold is different than the cold in Oklahoma. And from a woman who had lived here all of her life till a couple years ago.

@Stereoguy I think the wind and gusty fronts from different directions is a big factor in how cold it feels here in the winter. Messes with my joints too because for about 48 hours before a front blows in my joints start swelling.

@Stereoguy yeah that’s probably it. The irony is that the humidity in the summer is a killer combined with heat…you can’t cool down very much and the sweat clings. When we were driving to Yosemite we stopped for lunch in Baker, California which is not too far from Death Valley. Got some groceries and took our lunch and a watermelon to a little tiny park and sat at a picnic table under a tree and ate and relaxed. It was so nice sitting there. When we packed up and got in the car the temperature was 100, I couldn’t believe it because I was so comfortable sitting there. Didn’t feel like I was sweating but the humidity was 15% so I was thinking it was in the 70’s.
