What makes the ancient tech expensive?

I mean those stuffs are ancient but still higher price than new tech.

I was surfing and a saw one or two walkman cost over than a 100 dollar.

Guess cause things are rarer when they are no longer being made. So they are more expensive. Like how art becomes expensive only after the painter dies...

software in modern tech has become your very own personal spy,everything you do n say can be traced n tracked,hence the early 80s stuff cell phones(early gsm)like of nokia 3210/6110/motorola microtac etc cant be hacked nor traced,and likewise with older pcs,we sold a sony ericsonn gsm phone on ebay for shy of £900 to a dude in san francisco,so while yeh may say its ancient it still works and is practically untraceable in every respect,
