I needed to hear his voice, see his face 💖

It's going to be a while before we're able to physically be together again, but him calling me earlier really perked me up. He's been keeping busy, but he seems confident he'll be able to make it back to me by Christmas and then he'll get to stay for a while again. I haven't been in a good headspace with my being depressed over his prolonged absence, work being very difficult this time of year and things at home not making things any easier. But even with my love being so far away, he's able to rejuvenate me with his presence. I hate that we still have to be apart for some time, but it'll make our reunion all the more emotional and sweeter. I'll just be thinking about him like I do every single day.
