Poor is scary. On welfare living in government assisted housing. ☹
Rich is much more fun. I would probably still live where I do. I might have a vacation home or RV lot in the Keys. I would probably keep our motorhome and buy a Prevost. That way we would always have a working motorhome in good shape. My wife and I would definitely do a lot more traveling. I would like to spend a summer touring Canada and another touring Alaska. Then spend the winters touring Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. Traveling, meeting new people and exploring are fun to me.

@Musicman The worst thing was that my father tricked them and got his name on deed to the farm by telling them when they died that if they wanted to leave the farm to us children the lawyers would get most of it because it would go to probate court. They were simple and let him sign his name to the deed. Didn’t take long till he challenged them and it when to court a year later. The court had it auctioned off in a public auction and he got half of the proceeds and they got half, it didn’t bring much even with all of the improvements my uncle worked hard to make, a new dairy barn, a lot of fencing, a nice pond was built, farm equipment, cattle, etc. The total was what he paid for the farm when he first got it. So sad but he didn’t get to keep the money. He got sued for kidnapping beating up a teen boy he found hunting rabbits on the farm on a Sunday morning. He beat him so bad he was maimed severely was hospitalized and his family moved to California. That boy died in a car wreck 2 months later, probably still trying to heal from all of his injuries. Same judge told him 30 minutes later to sign the check over to the boy’s family and he did. I was very happy to hear that he didn’t profit from his nasty scam.

@Musicman yeah it was. He’s dead now and got dealt with by a higher power, nobody here did it. He did pay himself back for some things he. Did to others in some ways as he aged though.

What is funny is that people think their lifestyle wouldn't change much if they got rich.
I imagine though most of us would suddenly start thinking of things we want to buy or do. Things we do not even think about now.
