This song reminds me of my alive day. For those of you who do not understand what an alive day is it is of significance for those of us who have served overseas in combat it is the day where death was all but certain but to some turn of events or Miracle we were spared despite impossible odds. My alive day was 06 November 2004. Fallujah Iraq. Operation Phantom Fury. I don't discuss the details with anyone nor will I post them here but it is also the day I was decorated. Many things happen that day and I have come to terms with them but during certain moments I do recall. And I probably will for the rest of my life but I am thankful that I am alive because many I knew are not in a better world things like this would not be necessary
