Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth

Meek: from the greek "praus" (pra-hoos).
It means warhorse.

Warhorses have great strength with great control.

So remember when the meek inherit the earth - it is not the quiet and subdued
...it is the strong and controlled who will fight for it when needed. 💪

Off-topic, but similarly - When people call someone a "pansy" to say they are wimpy or weak they are mistaken, as pansies are a very hardy and tough flower.
@fun4us2b i absolutely love pansies. I feel like a saw an animated movie when i was little and the pansies had whiskers.

And now i cant see them any other way. They are an adorable flower.

@fun4us2b I'm willing to bet that calling weak people pansies started out as an ironic thing, and folks just didn't get the joke.

@LordShadowfire Ya never know !! Word and phrase origin is so interesting and often surprising...

@fun4us2b I know that calling people Nimrod as an insult began because Daffy Duck used it ironically to describe Elmer Fudd as a "mighty hunter".
