What were your greatest years? Or are they still to come?

SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
13-15. I was in peak physical condition and felt invincible. Then I broke my ankle in gymnastics and realised I am mortal after all 🥺
dale74 · M
@SunshineGirl I had a friend and she was supposed to be trying out for the Olympics she had already done the Regionals and broke her leg.
dale74 · M
@SunshineGirl where they do the backflips diagonally across the map the girl I know could do that and forth 6 times.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@dale74 So could I! Floor was my best event. I broke my ankle badly on the beam and after that I could never trust it to support me entirely 🤸‍♀️
taneegoan · 31-35, F
years are not really greatest ever , greatest was those which i did in those years
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@taneegoan indeed, but sometimes things happen that give us a measurement. Like loss. Grieving may take years, I can say with certainty that those years were not so great. It’s just an expression.
taneegoan · 31-35, F
@AlchemyFox true but so you can say "memory of years "
bookerdana · M
One never knows do one????😷 I mean everyday on the sunny side of the sod is good☀️

But I'm a never say die type,I'll say ahead,always

AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@bookerdana Ya never do know! Live it to the fullest, even if it means chillin 24/7 😎
bookerdana · M
@AlchemyFox livin' the dream 😻
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
This has been a pretty good year after a series of really bad ones. But things have good momentum.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@SwampFlower YAY! So happy for you and I hope the good times keep rolling 🖤
SW-User
The 90's ... but the current is pretty good too for purely selfish reasons.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@SW-User The 90s were good times
TheFragile · 46-50, M
I have two parts of my life. Prior to quitting drinking and post drinking. I'm not sure if one is greater than the other, I can only say that I have been healthier the last nine years and I'm able to make more rational decisions. I do miss some of the fun I had back then and some of the spur of the moment choices I made. But I wouldn't go back to it.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Hopefully still to come.

In my youth I had more friends, a social life, and a more or less pain-free body....but I also had less money and less comfort with myself.

Now, I have more money and am more comfortable being who I am (on the inside), but I lack a social life and have chronic pain.
Convivial · 26-30, F
Life is cyclic... Enjoy the good and hang on for the rest
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@Convivial I prefer the hold on loosely method. Sometimes taking turns to quick and laughing at the sensation of having little to no control 😆
Convivial · 26-30, F
@AlchemyFox having little or no control in the right circumstances can be fun😜
Northerner · 70-79, M
Every year that passes has been my greatest year so far.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@Northerner beautiful
NickiHijab · F
This year has been pretty great for me
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@NickiHijab Many more to come 🖤
icedsky · 51-55, M
Mine will be here in about 20 minutes!
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@icedsky Sounds like fun!!!
Probably between the ages of 18 and 22 or so.
This year has been greatest so far
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
That you can tell, not me.
Theandyb · 36-40, M
Hopefully to come?🤔😊
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
Selfishly…Hmmm. Mid 20’s till late 30s’s.
Got my career on track and had the fun of my life.

But the accomplishment of raising a couple kids trumps everything. Its a different feeling…totally unselfish

Rambler · M
greatest was from about 40 to 55, in terms of accomplishment

happiest was from about 30 to 38

most content and at peace is now
Slade · 56-60, M
@Rambler That's pretty much identical to me
Ontheroad · M
Absolutely it was my 50's... best years ever. While I* can't complain about the here and now, my 50's where when I shined!
SW-User
My best years were my childhood. Things were so good then. I'd like to think better years are still to come but I'm losing hope
I did enjoy my early 20s but I was so insecure. I feel the older I get the less of a fuck I give and I truly just enjoy life xD
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Age 17 for my body and a trip overseas, 40 for my career, but as for love....it never really materialized.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
at my age?
Social Security going broke
my health going to the crapper
death

not in any particular order.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
They are still yet to come. I just broke through the storm. I have to understand what calm feels like now.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
Gone. It was all a farce. I was raised in a cult, my entire life is a lie and a mistake.
SW-User
The greatest ones are our current ones 😊
dale74 · M
Ever since I had my daughter
SW-User
I still feel at my greatest now
DisturbOne · 41-45, M
Still working on em
My childhood.

MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@AlchemyFox come on then 😾
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I think I'm still improving, still reaching for the stars. I hope it never stops.
Slade · 56-60, M
