Have the therapeutic effects of screaming ever been explored?

When I know it is going to be a long and hard day at work, I find that pointing my face skyward and letting out a deep guttural scream makes me feel a whole lot better about what I'm about to do. Sometimes i even shake my head like Animal the muppet.

It nets me some off-looks in the parking lot but whatever 🤷🏽‍♂️. When they see me busting my ass in there I'm sure they'll understand.

Screaming is very therapeutic for me too. Helps to get my anger and frustration out.

I am an educator. This is from
a therapeutic coloring book for us.
Screaming , crying , throwing stuff.
Its all very good at releasing stress.
I know ive done it more than a few times in my life.
