What would your 'What If?' be?

Like the Marvel show... an alternative life where one thing changed or something happened differently?

I would love to have the confidence in myself I have now, and to have met and got together with my gf when we were both in high school.

She (brunette) and I (blond) would be lesbian power couple ultra goals!

@Strictmichael75 Thank you! But all is good, we are together! I never met her until years later though, that's all.

@Emele lovely indeed! Glad you are both happy 😊

My timeline would have been different a few times. The first would have been if I didn’t screw things up with my high school girlfriend. That was the relationship that broke me on many levels. If I didn’t mess up maybe I would have gotten married to her and had many kids. But I also wouldn’t have learned about myself very well. Another would have been letting a long distance romance dictate that I couldn’t find someone locally and even give her up to keep that long distance relationships going. Left empty handed in both situations and always wondering “what if” because I made the wrong decisions each time.

@PassingThrough True, even if things don't happen how we'd like them to at the time, it can still lead to a good thing.

I think I could have a couple of What ifs...

What if I was confident and comfortable with life... I think my life would be totally different. And rebelled against my parents instead of falling to their overbearing ways.

Also, what if, I stayed in my depression, and didn't get out of it.

Can be what if boths ways.

Tough one because I wouldn’t want to undo the birth of Kiddo or meeting my partner. I think i wish I’d pissed away less time on bad relationships though and instead focused on my degree. I would have finished undergrad, been done with grad school, and well into my career by now.

Point of order: The 'What If' machine is an invention of Prof Farnsworth of Futurama which (I can't be bothered to look it up) must be a good 20 years ago.

Never too late! Go for it Emele
