Write a list of what needs changing and how your gonna do it..little steps to start with
morrgin · F
Its a bit harder to start over the older we get, but its still possible. From what I've seen, the things that hold us back from making major changes is a reluctance to let go of what we are familiar with and not wanting to upset other people.
Usually the best way to start is to get to the root of the problem. Solve that and other problems will be solved too. Some things take time to show the results you want. If a major problem is other people holding you back then they have to go too. If they are meant to be in your life then they will understand or will understand eventually.

I totally believe there's hope. Where do you start? Self care. I can't tell you what's next but what helped me start changing everything a year ago was losing my job and getting a new similar role. Then a couple longtime friendships ending. Then psych meds. Then trauma therapy. Now working on why I dont show up for myself and self care. And next for me... I think will be a new living situation. That's the plan at least. I had to break it down into far smaller goals to not feel as overwhelmed.

There is always hope. You can only change one thing at a time. Start with the one thing you want to change most first.

It is never too late, just need the want it, decide and start changing whatever you need to change

Are you sure you messed everything up?
SW-User
@RebelFox feels that way, I am so full of regrets it's eating me alive

@SW-User Have you thought about what if you didn’t? What if you did the best you could at the time and that’s exactly what you needed to do? And all you need to do is let it go. Even if it hurts and feels all wrong. And if you can’t fathom another way to joy, maybe then you might consider that you did the wrong thing. But there’s other paths. You’re an incredible, sensitive woman and mother, if you are true to you, I don’t think you could possibly of messed up 🖤

If you put your faith in Jesus, there is always hope
If not, there never was

What did you mess up? Work stuff? That stuff will fix itself 🤗
SW-User
@TheLordOfHell not work everything else 😞 work is the only thing I haven't completely messed up yet
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
@SW-User Oh, you haven't messed up everything. It may feel that way with the depression as bad as it is, but I promise you that you haven't. And as long as you are living, there is a chance for...your second wind!
