I keep an open mind and I am not afraid to change my mind either. I'm not stuck or identified by my beliefs/opinions. I'm very open to learning.
SW-User
Oh you definitely fit one of my definitions of a sexy lady , someone who’s not afraid to speak her mind and ask for what she wants when she wants it 😏. Unlike Ms crumbs I’m on my secound cup ☕. Lol @SW-User

@SW-User I'll take the compliment, thanks. But what's your second cup of coffee got to do with it?😂
SW-User
Fooked if I know with what anything has to do with anything on here 🤷♂️ Ask Ms crumbs ,maybe she knows Haha 😂 @SW-User

First off, it's kind of a waste of time reading opinions that match my own well-reasoned ones. Assuming, for the moment, that "well-reasoned" actually applies. I don't seek validation.
As to conflicting opinions, it depends on how "well-reasoned" they appear to be. No matter how sincerely held they might be, any post that insults either my character or my intelligence (not suggesting that i have an overabundance of either, but it is my time I'm wasting) simply isn't going to get read (or responded to).
Opinions that make me think are welcome. Alas, also rare.

I will read anything that is well communicated, logically argued, and supported by evidence 😊

@SunshineGirl
🙌🏼 agree! I like those too, even if they are contrary to my personal views.
I don’t like reading the emotional arguments.

For heavens sake, don’t read anything I post then 😂 @SunshineGirl

Its been interesting to watch people lose their minds recently over the rulings of the American Supreme Court lately, but usually if its a disgusting display of ignorance and perversion I will block. Otherwise I might read and respond to it.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
I read the different views from time to time. I try to do it sparingly though for my mood and not engage in pointless online bickering.
CookieCrumbs · F
@WhateverWorks
I do the same thing. If I’m in a bad mood or stressed out with real-life situations, I avoid reading controversial topics here. But when I’m in a good mood, I don’t mind discovering different points of view.

It’s kind of the other way around for me 😅 if I’m in a good mood I don’t want ruin it by being disappointed in humanity and remembering these peoples’ ‘opinions’ = votes that effects reality lol @CookieCrumbs
Freeranger · M
I read what either catches my eye or that on a particular day I'm in the mood for. It doesn't have to be something I agree with. It never has.
Jlhzfromep · M
Sadly too many people do not want to hear other opinions, they just want to hear their own opinion coming out of other peoples mouths.

I read a lot of posts, i dont always comment, but i do read.
I am very open and accepting of people's views, but sometimes, i cannot be that.
For example, earlier i came across a post that mentioned kids should be trained very early in their lives in sex.
It was not about sex ed. No, not that at all. It was about karma sutra training. That, imo is meant for adults to practice lol. Not suitable for kids in "very early" stage.

I sometimes wonder what world some people live in. Their suggestions are on the boundary of disgusting and appalling.
I wonder if sometimes they use the online forum to project their fantasies…

@CookieCrumbs That post i mentioned got taken down i think, because i just saw the author make the same post again, but this time changed it to college students instead of kids lol

My best advice for people is to have no personal bias if you’re going to seek the audience of a personal topic. This means you shouldn’t need or even want anything from someone. If you approach them for their opinion. You’re asking for their belief, not a confirmation of yours.

@CookieCrumbs Too many people are so insecure in how they feel that they want others to agree. That just tells me how weak their beliefs are. Agreement shouldn’t matter at all if you’re comfortable with who you are.

Most sensible thing I’ve seen you say all day 👍

GerOttman · 61-69, M
@CookieCrumbs I almost never engage in any argument. I just shit post until the other gets too annoyed and frustrated to continue. I don't even believe half of what I post, I just like how cranked up some people get...

I read everything
Even if i don't agree
Just trying to understand why people do and say the things they do

Yes I do. I used to avoid it but over the years I've become tolerant of opposing views.

I don’t get disappointed with their choices/views on a topic.
What sometimes makes me 🤦♀️ was the way they argue their “why”.

@ChemDawg And quite often I choose being silent. I think that helps, but I won't hide some things grate me.
