Is being pregnant the same as getting a 18 to life sentence?

Ilovestars · 31-35, F Best Comment
It is absolutely a life sentence.

justanothername · 51-55, M
It should also be known that not all women who get pregnant actually want to be pregnant.
There are many many legitimate reasons why a woman may want to terminate her pregnancy.
A woman may have gotten pregnant via rape.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@justanothername not black and white. A state issue versus a federal issue .
That’s what this is really all about after all .
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Carissimi It’s not for the state, it’s for any women considering whether or not to have an abortion to have the right to make her own informed choice.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
She can make her own choice, then go to a state where they allow it. @justanothername

There is a reason pregnancy happens!
Don’t do the crime if you don’t want the time.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Pfuzylogic here in NYC April is the most popular month for unwed teenage births.
Lots of teenage girls get knocked up over summer vacation .

@AthrillatheHunt
So something to do with birds and bees then? 🧐
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
Closer to life than 18 years
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Jenny1234 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tython · 31-35, M
It would depend on your pre-existing outlook on parenthood.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
Depending on how you’re looking at it? If you want to be a parent or not. … and regardless going into ityou should understand it’s a lifelong thing.
popmol · 22-25, M
quite rude dad!
popmol · 22-25, M
@Lostpoet the 18 years we spend together how do you forget ;(
Lostpoet · M
@popmol you're right 🫂im sorry
popmol · 22-25, M
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
Are you asking this to make a “political” statement, but in an underhanded way?
Lostpoet · M
@WaryWitchWandering Do I come off as the type to do that?
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@Lostpoet nope
Haha I guess they have some similarities but differences too
Lostpoet · M
@midnightrose I'm guessing you have kids
@Lostpoet You guessed right
Oneofthestormboys · 100+, M
Nope. Having children is the biggest blessing you can ever have mate. Not scary at all.
Are you planning on getting pregnant? I think that would be marriage.
bookerdana · M
Some actually WANT children in spite of the burden😤 My parents really did
Carissimi · 70-79, F
It’s a precious gift. There is nothing like being a mother.
justanothername · 51-55, M
No but apparently getting married is.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
At 18 to life you at least get to sleep. Lol
Melpomene · 22-25, F
No, if you're lucky you might get a free slave!
MiserableAtBest · 18-21, F

Entheesa · 31-35, F
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
If you have the child and don't want it just drop it off at the fire station. Let some rich Republican take of them.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Tastyfrzz you can drop off unwanted offspring at police stations too.
And I’m not defending reps but half of Hollywood has adopted kids and none of them are rep.
Nebula · 41-45, F
NudasPriest · 46-50, M
You'd probably get more sex in prison ...
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@NudasPriest there’s a goldmine of jokes in that sentence dude 😂😂
Lostpoet · M
@NudasPriest not the kind of sex i was looking for.
NudasPriest · 46-50, M
@Lostpoet Amen to that!
morrgin · F
No freedom
caccoon · 36-40
No, because you can give it up.

But you are dooming the child.

So you can choose to keep it, and never know when they'll be independent, if ever. Maybe they're born with a disability
Lostpoet · M
@caccoon True, but even the kids born with a disability I think bring meaning in to other people's lives.
caccoon · 36-40
@Lostpoet Absolutely. I didn't mean any disrespect or like they are less worthy of life. Sorry. I wrote this really insensitively.
Lostpoet · M
@caccoon No you didn't that was just my feelings I didn't get them from what you said.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I mean, if we aren't careful we might find it coming with the loss of the right to vote at the pace some folks are pushing.
Bang5luts · M
Yeah worth a free second income, and all that childs bad behavior you can blame on the absent parent.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Only if you don't want it
LordShadowfire · 46-50
It will be soon enough.

@Darksideinthenight2 The gender of your profile makes this statement confusing.

Are you going to another country to get more milk?
