Life Update
I haven't been on here in a while, but a whole lot has happened.
My middle brother was hospitalized (his stay lasted for a little over a week, last Monday to today) after coming after my mom and was formally diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I'd never heard of it before but the symptoms are all there. He was put on medications and we were happy that he was finally receiving treatment.
Mom changed the locks and the rest of us agreed to put a restraining order on him while he was hospitalized so he couldn't come back to the house and torment us.
My middle brother was released from the hospital, somehow got a ride to the house, and sat in his car waiting for mom to come home. I was home from class for the day but decided to go to the library to study and be away from the current situation. As soon as I left, mom had apparently seen him trying to come in from the camera at the front door and warned him to go away through the microphone. He then left quickly in his car.
This has been a long time coming, but I also fear for him. He doesn't want further treatment and would rather spend time in a homeless shelter instead of admit himself into a 30-day care facility. Please pray for us and send good energy our way.
