It sounds like your sinuses are packed up. That causes vertigo, headache, and post nasal drip, which in turn causes the cough. Try taking Dayquil during the day, and Nyquil at night. I have the same symptoms, and these meds actually do help a lot.

Omicron does collect in the sinuses and the mouth, and in the upper esophagus. It usually doesn't go down into the lungs.

One thing you can do, which I heard on television, is to gargle frequently with alcohol containing antibacterial mouthwash. It's supposed to kill the virus living in your mouth if you have Omicron.

Also, try using a neti pot with saline solution inside. If you don't have one, you can stand over the sink and try to snort homemade salt water up your nose from a bowl...and then let it all drain out again.

I know its tough mothers are over worked and under paid. Hang in there I promise it will get better I feel so bad for you. If there is anything I can do to help you get through this just let me know
