It's weird when all your friends hate someone and you don't

Does everybody hate Joe Rogan now then? I've always been neutral on the guy tbh,
I feel like people take him too seriously. Like all my immediate friend group hate him, and they also hate Jordon Peterson and talk about judging people who like him. Meanwhile, I'm neutral on both and kinda not wanting to say anything feeling like I have a secret and it's uncomfortable 🤔

I think maybe they're my friends but not my "people"? 🤷‍♂️ We don't have to have the same opinions but I feel like I can't be open with them sometimes or I'll be judged. My closer friends know my opinions and aren't weird about it but the others I dunno lol.

@MalteseFalconPunch I feel like people are reading articles other people write about them and getting their opinions from there sometimes. I'll think "well I've watched hours upon hours upon hours of material and I never thought that or picked up on that tbh" like they haven't actually watched them before.

I understand if people don't like JP about the whole trans bill thing, Joe Rogan frustrates some people because they call him an enabler because he doesn't take sides, or when he does he doesn't take the side they'd like. I've heard people take things he says seriously as well and he's a comedian who does a podcast for fun.

@MalteseFalconPunch I think to a degree yes, it conflicts with my personal beliefs about freedom of expression and personal accountability in some aspects so it never quite sits right with me when I have this debate. I agree with both sides tbh.

I think it's still largest in the world though I haven't checked.

@MalteseFalconPunch Yeah but then people are also responsible for themselves and what they listen to, so that belief kinda conflicts with itself in a lot of ways.
