@jveryoral The real problem is that girls are not wanted. Only male children are valued as money earners.

An economic survey, Gus , in 2018 stated that 63 million were 'missing' and about 20 million were 'unwanted'. My friend tells me that it is not uncommon to find newly-born females tossed in the rubbish and other areas.
