Are gay people and the LGBT community as a whole more accepted in 2022 than they ever were?
It seems many say they are still oppressed. But it's gotta be better than like 30 or more years ago?

@basilfawlty89 I don't know, conservatives might go after left handedness again once they've put the gays, the atheists, and the liberals in their place. Used to be a common thing for kids to get punished for writing left handed in schools about 50 years ago. Your case may reinforce him...

No and for good reasons. I am not bashing but certain LGBTQ want to treat there children like lab rats ( force fight their selfish future for the cause) . Eligibilities just to be LBGTQ. it is unfair and almost criminal, This life seems to be Hijacked from the original Civil Rights Leaders, and bought by special interest. " Invite straight minority people of all classes to the dinner party and then hand them a sack lunch and let them know the party was cancelled", 3 hours later and the venue is really now open, you see the lights, the silhouettes and hear "POSE".. Yup

Trying to take the high road by mentioning a civil rights activist after the crude things you've said regarding LGBT people is just trying to make yourself out to be better after you KNOW what you've said and done to others. Maybe not ever -- there've been societies, historically, where third genders were just an uncontroversial thing and homosexuality was the norm. But it seems sorta like modern society is more progressive on LGBT+ issues than any time within the past century or so. Someone can fact check me on that though

The homos that use this act of 1965, Non Discrimination Act is riding the past on Negros, that died before it and after it. And now combined it with the sodomites are an included act. This act was not made for Gays. This is not the loop hole law its the " get in the butt law', so the black and brown family is destroyed with homosexuality. Homosexuality Rape was used on the Negro since day 1 of slavery. Sodomiteism was the strongest weapon used on the Negro in the Americas for slavery...... it was part of torture/ its called Rape. Now you know something historic. So when the democrats switched over from times of 1965 Non discrim act. This now the new production. LGBTQ civil rights , by using 1965 act. This law and act was to help people of color that obeyed the law. Prejudice ruled America Laws against black folks thru the 80's. Democrats and republicans where to close and you couldn't tell one from another, that was just called USA. ( my personal note: Yall don't know Shit and that's sad) . USA_USA USA.

The GOP is still trying to install bills that will hold gay people down like not talking about their orientation. Rights are an uphill battle and forever is being fought because if all let our guard down, someone comes in like a trojan horse to destroy it. This is why it's good to keep them in check.

Statistics show they are not in my country. We are in regress in compare to 5-10 years ago. Stupidity seems contagious, especially on social media.

Better than 30 years ago, yes. Better than 10 years ago, that's more arguable. As general acceptance among the broader public grows, the reactionary measures by those opposing lgbtq+ rights are becoming stronger in an attempt to roll progress back.
These things do have ups and downs. Just because we're better now than 30 years ago doesn't mean we can relax and stop fighting. If we say it's better and try to let the issue rest, the hateful will drag us back 50 years in the blink of an eye.

@strongbow So how do you explain the fact that homosexual behavior has been observed in over 2000 animal species? It is just as “natural” as straight sex, despite the disapproval of various religions.
