Love for cross-dressing

Not a fetish, but I have started to enjoy dressing up as a woman in private. It is not to please anyone but have felt very happy and comfortable dressing up in girly clothes, wearing heels and doing some make up. I know society will not accept a cross dressing man (Atleast in India) hence have stopped discussing this with my friends or family members..

We (as women) have been cross-dressers for a long time. We wear trousers, for example. It took society quite a while to accept that. Why shouldn't society accept men wearing female clothes, in the long run?
Actually I feel it can look quite nice as long as you don't start painting your toenails. That's reserved for us please 馃槒

@helenS We had a female staff who had a masculine dressing SO girlfriend who came by at times to pick up her girlfriend (our staff) after work. Typical dress was male type kaki shirt and slacks, no makeup and hair style more male-like. Like a typical dress for an appliance serviceman, plumber or electrician. Also very trim and muscular. Typical chit-chat was about just that: service-man stuff, like repairing her car, or painting their house, etc.

The image and behavior was refreshing, like we were on the same level in a way. Like our gender wasn't an invisible elephant in the room.

@Heartlander Even though I wear a pair of blue jeans almost every day, it doesn't make me feel I'm wearing male clothes.

@helenS I remember when split-skirts enjoyed a few years of popularity in the late 1970s (are they called 'culottes'?). They like brought a bit of freedom to women and merged the male-female divide for men also. So like women didn't have to be so careful in how they sat or crossed their legs, or bent over to pick something from the bottom shelf. And also gave guys reasons to see women face-to-face and ease the vanity thing. Jeans took it up a notch. I don't think it made women like men, but made them more approachable.

@helenS Thank you for your wonderful and broad minded thoughts my friend.. Wish everyone thinks that way and supports men wearing cute girly dresses. As for the painting of toenails, I have never done till date.. But would dearly love to do it and as it would make me more feminine.鈾ワ笍

@Indianboy Oh, that might be different. Women wear male clothes (such as trousers) because they come in handy. It's not because we want to look like men/boys do. It's not a turn-on, there is no sexual connotation at all, as far as I am concerned.
If you get off by wearing females clothes, just do it!
