Should intersex or trans people tell their romantic partners what they are?

I mean if anything just for safety and to not get a negative reaction. My sister said if she dated and married someone who she thought was man turned out to be female she would freak out. My mom and grandma were at a public restroom one day and saw someone who appeared to be very masculine male with a purse on their shoulders and beard in there with them and my grandma was shocked and scared. My mom said she was uncomfortable. My family still thinks of me as a girl/woman despite my intersex condition. I think you should tell your significant others or spouses who you are for safety and just not to deceive someone and do a shitty thing to them.

I’ve nit had a lot of experience with this, but I’ve never met a trans individual who could’ve mistaken. I’m sure they exist, and yes at some point they should be open with their partner
