Is non-binary an actual, scientifically proven thing or just a trend?

Just to be clear; I don't mean to offend anyone who may identify as such, it's just that I personally have a hard time grasping the concept of non-binary gender identities.
I fully accept the idea (more like fact) that sex and gender are two different things, but even with this distinction I don't see how there are supposed to be more than two.

It's confirmation bias and propaganda for sure.

Don't get me wrong, these people exist and have existed for a long time, and by all accounts they suffer from their affliction.

The "scientific evidence" that exists is a great example of the new style of scientific studies that figure out the conclusion, then try to find the steps there. It's the same thing advertisers pay for. Come up with studies that show drinking 2 cups of coffee a day is beneficial to your health. My advice is don't waste your time with those, they are not true examples of the scientific method.

Additionally, when you have parents who choose to change their child's gender due to capricious and personal reasons, you can start to imagine how this trend will have lasting and detrimental consequences on children and young adults over the next 20 years or so.

Be on the lookout for a giant scandal in a few years where a lot of former transgender people come out of the woodwork saying they were "coerced" by their parents or the medical profession to go through a transition to another gender/sex.

Listen to your doubts. That's your subconscious telling you this is wrong and to do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

But they've always existed and yes, there's a growing stockpile of research exploring the topic.

A true hermaphroditism is, by definition, non-binary. But that's physical gender.

Gender identification is another thing. And yet science is beginning to suggest hormones play a part in fetal development where this is concerned. It's possible even birth order affects sexual orientation.

Are there as many genders as the Alphabet Tribe has come up with? Hard to know yet. But the bigger question is, why does anybody care how an individual defines him or herself? Those who want the government and Big Brother to stay out of their lives might do well to remember that when they're condemning others .

Just more BS

[@100938,geoam1] Wrong. Try again.
I have no idea what you are talking about. As far as im concerned there are only two genders but some people are (physically) mixed while others are mentally
