Honestly its happened to a friend & not me....

A friend got talking to a guy online... but over time things were adding up about the guy. He asked for money to get back to the UK. He got back but was arrested for cocaine possession... contacted my friend but didn't actually ask for help. He didn't deny or confirm the drugs were his... she stopped replying to him & following day he texted as normal... shld my friend seek legal advice... she doesn't want to be seen as an accessory... no subject of drugs came up in their conversation till after he was arrested... I don't trust the guy & neither does my friend now but what should she do?

Block his number and walk away

Mules come cheap. Fallout even cheaper. Your friends if not directly involved under US law. Would not be charged for simply aiding him

@KainAbel1 this is in the UK, laws might be different for this type of thing...

@BondGirl84 True. And thats why I answered the question as far as I knew but made the distinction
Block the parasite.

Seek legal advice for what???
BondGirl84 · 36-40, F
@SW-User in case the police thinks she's an accessory as she's the only one that tried to call after he got arrested

@BondGirl84 lol omg no she doesn't need an attorney
This guy is a serious problem. "She" needs to break off everything with him...and stop giving him money.
