So as I was saying I was dragging myself with a man and he knew how to say my name perfectly but not how to write it

And I showed him like 3 separare times but he couldn't grasp the concept of the sequence of the letters n, d and r
that happens to me too all the time here. they always put the r after the a like alexander but alexandar? like how hard can it be to write alexandra, jesus christ
@HannibalAteMeOut my favourite thing is when mike makes fun of me for how i pronounce a greek rooted word in english lmao

@PepsiColaP he'll never understand the struggle of being torn between sounding ridiculous in greek or in english
@HannibalAteMeOut why is this so true lmao
Your name used to be the name of the street I lived in up until I was 13 and also the name of my school from the ages 3 to 12. I'd never misspell your name, Sandra.
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
@HijabaDabbaDoo it's the name of the hospital I was born in and an avenue here 😂
Also I see you trying to make my name sound closer to yours 😏
@HannibalAteMeOut Alexandra lives in all of us✊🏽

I've been called Sandra more times than I'd like to. I don't even know anyone my age or around my age named Sandra. When I hear Sandra, I think the year 1066.

@HijabaDabbaDoo how can they butcher a simple name like yours like that 😒

I don't know exactly what you're talking about, but I kinda understand. When I place an order over the phone I always use a simpler version of my last name because my actual last name is so hard for people to grasp. I've had it pronounce correctly about 3 times in my entire life (not an exaggeration).

one time I bought beer and was carded. The woman behind the counter actually thought the name on my license was a joke.

@SW-User oh great now I'm curious about what it is.

But my own name is pretty common and international so...

@HannibalAteMeOut lol, I can't say because it's so rare people would find my in a few seconds of googling

There are a handful of names I go by because people mishear my name or can’t remember it. Most of the time I’ll give my name, and when they repeat it back incorrectly I’ll just agree with them. Sometimes I’ll just lie upfront and give an easier version of my name.

@itsok being unique is tough
@Elessar The difference in the Arabic font is a nice touch 😅
Elessar · 26-30, M
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Does it match with the English text btw? Is the choice of font only a matter of aesthetics, or there's a second meaning?
@Elessar It matches yup. It's just aesthetics the different fronts don't mean anything. I wanna know why the pic above has rounded edges and the other doesn't lol
