Drunk driving or wife beating/child abusing judges or DAs picked up on a Friday or Saturday night

Should NOT be rewarded with protective custody or illegal exemptions from being in jail upon such arrests. They should be tossed among people they've incarcerated without protective custody even if there is a high chance of getting murdered by such inmates.

Being against such actions is condoning such actions that put people in jail over a weekend.

jail yes.
protective custody - absolutely - away from the general population.

if they are convicted then they might have to go to jail in general population.

sucks to be them - but even then they might be segregated.
