Stop saying "is is".

English is your first language and other people use it better than you.

Say, "My point is that . . .", or "My point is, . . .". Not, "My point is is . . ."

Is is a noun or a verb? 🤔
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
@Classified It's a verb and shut up.

I don't understand why people do it, it's usually Americans. I heard someone do it in something I was watching and skipped back because I thought it was a mistake that was left in by accident and they stumbled over their line.
Wallflow3r · 26-30, F
I have never heard anyone say that.

@SinlessOnslaught I'm 42 years old. I've lived in America my entire life and not once have I ever heard anyone say that. Nor have I ever said it. Where did you hear it?
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
@Skippyskiptic I've heard it my whole life, locally and on national TV.
