Read their grammar books. Listen to the news while in the car. Talk to people who speaks the language

I heard a story once. About a guy who listens to another language's tutorial while being stuck at traffic. He does it everyday. And that means a lot of time. Then one day to everyone's surprise, he starts to sound fluent at it.

@Riemann At the moment, I'm happy with new English vocabs. But at times, I've got to google translate Portuguese and Spanish because my readers speak them. It's humbling to get to interact with people that way. :)

Talk to people who speak that language. Read books in that language; play DVDs, or whatever, where that language is used - learn the rhythm of the words as well as going to classes.
