I worked retail -- AT KRESSES, the dime store. Yup, long time ago.

Standing behind the candy counter I was asked for a dime's worth of -- let's say Hershey's kisses -- and weighed them into a little paper sack. Yup, long time ago.

@Catzgano yea quality has gotten wors there and everywhere really. I was happy however to find some of the colored pixie pants at the thrift store for 4 bucks. They're worth 4 bucks lol

@Jenny1234 nothing most of the time. Or overstock of the things already pilled up on the shelves. I literally allowed a customer to follow me to the entrance of our stockroom once so she could see that I was in fact NOT LYING about us not having merchandise.
Years ago though. Thankfully I'm no longer in retail

@Jenny1234 sometimes they do have item, really depends on the store. For example, at home depot, there is no backroom. The whole thing is the "backroom" lol
