Sometimes God allows things to happen so that we will turn to him for help. But if we only come to him when we need something from him, but otherwise ignore him, no he will not answer in your favor. He will not be treated like a Genie in a Bottle, only there for convenience. But if you show him respect and ask him to come into your heart and life, he will hear you and be your God. And he will lead you in your life.
I'm not Muslim but I know from experience one choice you could make.
