@Jonjdw these don't have strings, they're battery operated and you charge them. You pump one of the fairy's arms then it starts flying. They have motion sensors and move according to your movements.

@DearAmbellina2113 I was just looking it up and yes they have change from when my daughter was little. My daughter had ones where you pull it straight and then they fly up.
