What age did you give up on finding your ideal soulmate and settled

Settled at 23 (ironically to a woman whose maiden name was Settle), divorced by 25. Finally at 42 I found my perfect woman 🥰

I gave up and stopped looking. Out of the blue he appeared in my life. We have been together since.

I never allowed my self the luxury of worrying about that. I had no control over it and honestly , after my abuse as a child, ptsd kept me from thinking about that. But, as fate would have it, he walked right into my life and asked me to dance. He has been the most important part of it ever since.
