I Know We All Need Encouragement And Commendation

She said I’m her number one and my heart skipped a beat.
That feeling of elation nothing else could beat.
She says she loves me more but i don’t think that’s possible to be fact.
Despite that my tummy fluttered, my whole body seemed to react.
I think she wants us to be together when the circumstances are right.
And the thought that she holds those hopes too fills me with delight.
Being together seemed impossible, now I’m not quite sure.
Guess I’ll have to wait and see what the future has in store.
But I feel a little hope now, just got to try and not get carried away.
Amazing how a few words can fight back the skies of grey.
I’m sure whatever the case things won’t just slip into place.
But the wait will be worthwhile in the end if I get to wake up beside her face.
