How do you identify those worth befriending here?

People who have a reputation for showing kindness and respect to others are worth befriending also if theyre positive and supportive.

Difficult to identify... Over a few interactions or conversations you'll be able to identify.

Start with reading their posts. Look for something in common. Then look at their profile about me, other posts. If nothing there don't even consider them.

Yet if you can agree, empathize, or at least understand with what they say then there's a chance.

The group listing really doesn't apply. Could be they are just attempting to see more posts.

Do check out their photo albums. Some actually do have far more than selfies. I sure as heck do.

For me it is usually something in a person's posts that I connect with. After some interactions on various posts you'll know who you want to befriend. Give people a chance and you may be surprised at who turns out to become a close friend.

Not sure. I haven’t friends requested anybody yet. I’ve had a number of good conversations though.

I'm the only trustworthy person here. Just saying.

Just by interactions on posts or in the Q&A. With some people you just "click", like in any setting, really.
