How many people's lives have been drastically altered by unnecessary interference?

Obviously including manipulation in its myriad forms.

I'm curious who here feels this most days of their life - those who are acutely aware of it and find it hard to forget about.

No judgment. No specifics asked for. More trying to get a general sense of how widespread this is. I know I include myself in this because of things that do not conveniently slot into any category or available 'support' groups.

Anyone?

But it was done over a long period of time. Two steps forward. Just to get pushed one back. Then one step forward. Just to get slammed back three. So much of that push back completely unnecessary. A very long back and forth dance that eventually has me veering off the course that I get a little too planted on and hopeful for simply because it’s a path with a direction. Even with unnecessary persuasion, one’s strength can dwindle down. Pushing back gets more tiring. Just like moving forward when there’s too many obstacles in your way. That’s when the veer happens. Even on the new path, the same obstacles can present themselves in new forms and the same dance commences until my internal forces are built up strong enough to bust through the obstacles with knowledge and experience under my belt or my mind, my heart, and my gut tells me this is the one worth worth fighting to continue walking on.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart Best of luck and try ignore as best you can. I know it's hard when the bullshitters / liars / arm twisters are surrounding you more or less. Stick to your guns and be aggressive if you must. that seems to be working for me recently. Draining? Sure. But seemingly necessary. Best of luck. ✌️

@SW-User To you as well.

It's been a battle all week. Instead of seeing I was just with a complete jackwagon I spent the last week trying to figure out what was wrong with me

@LilPrincess Maybe talk to a few of the women here. I imagine there is some crossover with the misfortunes you have experienced. Hope you find what you are looking for - namely someone who handles you with care.

Speaking of which:

@SW-User think I am better off focusing on my career than relationships

@LilPrincess Good call. Trying to focus on something else myself for a bit so as to enjoy the downtime.

This is a good way of phrasing my biggest mistakes when it came to other people. “Unnecessary interference.” I thought I was protecting people I cared about.
I’ll read the post you linked.

@SW-User Maybe. Thank you for your kind words. I have learned to allow people to live their lives and experience and grow the way they can, though. I can’t live others’ lives for them and shouldn’t be attempting to. 🙂

@SW-User Someone has some Kojak coming their way.
So Freudian with that lollipop he is! 🤣
Have a great Saturday night / Sunday, dear Sedona.

It looks like you are fairly new here. Just a minor tip about this place - people here are not good at intelligent conversation.

Most of them cannot think any further than taking selfies or feeling sorry for themselves.

You have good intentions with this thread but kind of the wrong crowd.

@CestManan I'll take it as a compliment. I will happily accept the compliment. There are plenty cool people here anyway, yourself included from what I have seen. I thank you for the kindness. 🌹

Guess i would have lost that bet.

If we were gambling, I would have bet this is yet another vax thread before I read it.
SW-User
@CestManan Vax? Nothing of the sort. Just general life conversation.

You can't possibly grow up with and then actually live with a psychology major and not feel like you have been manipulated.
SW-User
@DeWayfarer That would be a mindfuck for sure.
