How can I legally change my name?

I want to create an entire new identity. I want a new appearance, a new life, and a new background. I don’t want people to know me. I don’t want people to know where I used to live, where I went to school, or who my family is. I don’t want people from the past to be able to find me. And plus I have this really cool name that I would love to sign on papers and put on my passport
Im sure that I'd do the same if I had such a feeling about my life and my identity, but before that I would make peace with my past and what happened in it otherwise I would defenitely carry it into my new life with lots of pain..

Well it’s physically easy to do that. I did something similar. But the emotional implications might surprise you later in life

@SW-User why do you say that?

Because you can’t run away from memories that’s all. Some things will haunt you later down the line. I wish you luck 🍀 @StarletPea
You will need to change the way the world operates, to be successful.

Do wish you Joy!

That's not going to happen.

The courts will review you for name changes but nothing else.

& the eyewitness protection program..... there's got to be a valid reason then you lose most of your right to exist as an individual.
...well, as a pea, I think you might first want to check your expiration date before embarking upon this quest... 😉😆😆😆

That depends on where you live. If you live in the US, it's quite easy to change your name.
