Well. I just broke the big TV in our living room

And had a total breakdown about. My husband is going to be beyond pissed and honestly I can’t take anymore stress right now.

I just need a break

Damn, that sucks. To already be stressed out and take another hit that just escalates it. That’s some seriously sucky timing. But you know what? Shit happens. Man, does it happen. And why it seems to happen in clusters is beyond me. I used to tell myself it’s a means to build strength and tolerance, but screw that. Sometimes it’s just crap presenting itself at the worst time simply because it can. So, you do what you can to fix what you can. And when you’ve reached your limit, you release yourself from giving more. Because there’s only so much we can do.

I know it’s easier said than done, but don’t let this accident add to the stress levels that are already there. If he gets upset, he gets upset. It’s an upsetting occurrence, but it’s something that won’t even be thought about months from now. And if it is, it could very well be something you end up shaking your head at. Don’t let it raise your blood pressure any higher than it already has. It’s so not worth it.

Ya know... i feel ya pain.... at this current moment.... my heated floors and hot water in my home are out and the boiler is a 13K replacement....My pressure pump to push water thru my house is another 4K fix and ....wit for it....................my microwave just went out too.

Ya just have to roll with it and find a way to look a the bright side....however dim that may be..

All will be well and now you can get a NEW TV....woooo hooooo :-)

Sorry 😞 when i was with my ex he had a short temper and when something happened that i know he wasnt going to like id try to find a solution before he got home. Because your already feeling stressed out and hes going to be stressed out when he gets home, maybe take a minute to calm down and then think about replacing it with a 2nd hand tv or one on a payment plan if you cant just buy one new in full. Hopefully you come to a resolution. The tv isnt worth your mental health. Its replaceable but you arent ❤️

Shit happens.. It will pass..
Years ago, my son let go of a Wii controller and destroyed what was then a very expensive set…

Ha! Don't be stressed. Shit breaks. This won't matter in a month.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Oh NO. You're really having a shitty week. *hugs*
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@Starcrossed fur reals
Elisbch · M
It was an accident. Accidents happen large and small. Hubby needs to see you're having a rough time and help you with that and forget about the TV. After all, who's mental health is more important? Your's or the tv's? That answer is a no brainer. Don't be hard on yourself over a tv. It's replacable, you're not. I hope he sees this in you. 🙂🙏🏻

Rocky101 · 51-55, M
@WaryWitchWandering omg I remember my cousin just got a 65 inch sonny flat screen 2 days later his son was playing the Nintendo Wii remote flew out of the kids hand right throw the tv
CestManan · 46-50, F
@WaryWitchWandering modern TVs break very easily
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@CestManan it wasn’t a big hit at all, and I watched in horror as a huge band of rainbow streaked up the middle
Listen to this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX3pdLEtQrg and dance about your living room, you will feel better. Then have a glass of mineral water.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
How the heck do you break a big TV other than throwing something at the screen?
I always just slam a door when I'm mad.
Whyme · 46-50, M
Hope your day got better
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
How did it break?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Is everyone ok? That is all that matters.

What happened?
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@JaggedLittlePill everyone is fine, my son spilled a drink and I picked remote up out of puddle of juice and tried to toss it on top of tvstand, it bounced and hit the screen and it’s donezo
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@WaryWitchWandering fucking hell...just a fluke accident. ...but that is definitely stressful. I am sorry....
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@JaggedLittlePill especially where my car isn’t running either now.

Like last thing I needed
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I am really sorry. My oldest smashed a tv when he accidentally threw the Wii controller at it. Then both of my kids were fighting over the remote and it went flying at the screen and it was done too.

I get how much it sucks and I hope he’s not too mad and doesn’t take it out on you. Accidents happen.

@SmileOnYourBrother no I’m not, you’re trying to get a rise out of me, and to poke at me when I’m already upset

And you seem to be enjoying yourself too.
