My living situation

This was the first time I looked for an apartment myself to rent. Didn't have much experience in that department and I thought it would be a harder task.. So when I found a good one in a week time, for a good price as compared to the market, clean and has all facilities, and the biggest plus was that it is a walking distance from my work, it made me suspicious as hell that I am missing some flaw, and that I will realise it after I had lived in it for a while. Especially that they easily brought the price down, that made me suspicious even more. I've been waiting to find out about this flaw for the last month, but aside from the pervy pigeons that come to the small window and watch me shower, I can't find any issues.. I guess i just got lucky!

I also particularly got lucky that none of the people i work with live in the building or nearby since the area is very close to work, i expected to see their faces around.. i actually made the effort to spend time around the area and in the building after work when I knew peooele would be going back home especially during ramadan when everyone leaves work on time and go home, JUST to see if someone lives in the building!! This is how much I'd hate it! I am very sure the watchman thought I was suspicious as hell showing up daily and roaming around lol.

But even if I got lucky, it doesn't feel like home .. Yet I didn't put any efforts in making it feel like home and I have been spending a lot of my time if not most of it outside..

I didn't/don't care much since i am not planning to stay in it for long.. but i hope next time I get an apartment, I will be able to make it comfy and cozy and be able to make myself want to stay indoors... because it looks like I have been programmed to live in cafes.
