This years SWecret Santa

Hi all

It is with regret that this years SWecret Santa will not be going ahead.

It was not an easy decision to make as I love to organise it, but the time has got away from me. I was also genuinely concerned about the reach of the post in the feed. Year after year people don’t get to participate because they miss the post and I felt those numbers would grow. I didn’t want to disappoint people but also knew that I wouldn’t have the time to keep continually posting about it so as many could see it as possible.

I hope the spirit of SWecret Santa still manages to encourage you to be kind and thoughtful of others.

Aww Flower......i'm sure everyone will understand. Yourself, Santa and helpers have put in so much time into this for years and for that I thank you.
I totally get that its less likely than ever that if it had gone ahead, people would have seen the posts and updates in their feeds so a lot of folk might well miss out.

This site has really changed significantly and yes the feed doesn't feel as consistent has it has done in previous years.
People go, new ones comes yet the most visible posts are from the new people.
Which surprisingly has a similar agenda. To be different and incredibly informative as to why, they're different.

Maybe I'm paranoid.

@MoonPieSmilez a editing trick will help with that.

Type the "@" sign followed by the first two or three letters, case doesn't matter, and as well as you are following them, a drop down list will pop up.

This only works the first time you create a post, comment or reply. You edit it, it just won't work.
