My bf asked me what I wanted for Christmas 🎁

I think I want a new bottle of perfume. 🤔 I have a couple of regulars that I get a lot of compliments on, but I'm bored with them. Lol

I like gourmand scents (caramel, vanilla, marshmallow, etc.), spicy scents (cinnamon, pepper, cloves, etc.), and fresh clean scents (ocean, clean laundry, etc.). So I'm gonna have to shop around and figure out which way I wanna go. 🤪

Last Christmas, I went All Out, and bought my wife Channel. 2 of the most popular and recommended scents. She was very happy with my gift choices. 🎁 🤗🥰 ✨️

Yesterday, I was waiting in line at the Burlington (Coat Factory) store to buy four glass coffee mugs.

I was looking at the stuff for sale near the snaking line, and one place had all these scent packets, to place in closets, or wherever odors might be that need masking.

I started smelling each. Most were overpowering. One make me cough.

But one was called "Forest" and I liked it so much I took two more inhales. The one called "Ocean" was pleasant, too.

My mom had expensive taste so she was a bit of a challenge come Christmastime. My dad had a really good sense of what she might be the most responsive to and since he had more to spend on her than I did he made a suggestion that turned out to be a yearly favorite she looked forward to each year.

It's called "White Shoulders" perfume and while it isn't cheap it's classy and will probably last her all year long. You'll have to locate this in a more upscale department store.

@Grateful4you I remember White Shoulders. It was really popular years ago but my mom never liked it. She has expensive taste too, but she likes spicier, woodier, exotic perfumes. I got her Tom Ford Black Orchid for Christmas this year.

@DearAmbellina2113 Anything "Tom Ford" sounds classy. I love Orchids so "Black Orchid" sounds tempting for someone I have in mind. In terms of "spicier, woodier, exotic" you might consider " Jungle Gardenia" Happy shopping.
