[image]I love my Julianna Cruz it’s just so much fun and it’s so much more comfortable and faster than my last bike. I hope 🤞 to pick up a pump track/DJ specific bike when it arrives at the end of the month. I’m counting the days I’m so bored and ready for something to help build my skills as well as another reason to get on the road and see some new places to ride and visit old favorites as well. It’s just been so brutal air quality wise due to fires the past 5 summers specifically.

@Bjoern1997 Fun looking and highly visible too. I’m excited to get a designated DJ pump track bike as I get some strange looks at the BMX and skateparks and I have ventured into some dirt jumps and BMX trails in my area and my parents area. Plus I have a list of parks and tracks and mountain bike only preserved that I’m itching to get started on. I have a new strategy for success as I have a rooftop tent and I know I can camp in the parking lots of a few areas that I want to see. Moab slickrock etc. and I do enjoy riding the lifts at the ski areas both in my area and other parts of the western US.
I just have a hard time finding people to ride with because I have a pretty open schedule and they don’t and it never seems to happen. So I’m lucky my dad will bomb the scarier trails at the ski areas and elsewhere at 70+. I’m impressed. I have friends my age that won’t go near places like Whistler and mammoth and northstar and park city and etc …
I hit 30 years of actually mtn biking and racing started at 14 with a little help from a shop that I helped out at for free. Basically I was an intern and I learned how to take care of a bike as well as breaking down lots of boxes. I still hate to work on my bike and I really got spoiled with a few good mechanic friends and a few summers in my mid 20s racing on grassroots team with a little support and a lot of fun plus it was a good break from snow without losing any fitness and cycling is still my favorite way to stay fit. I love to run too. But my knees don’t like it at all anymore. lol
