Why do old people have to make things so difficult?

My mom has the phone on speaker and the operator is giving her three different voice options to choose from and instead of saying one of them she starts screaming words that aren't even an option so it repeats and she gets mad

Coz they are old, so, now they expect young ones to understand them and their issues as these older ones used to do when these younger ones were kids.
