Have you ever woken up and had the urge to go out for breakfast maybe bring your phone or a book and just spend the morning people watching?

I will do that at the farm . I will drive into town where there is a cute little cafe/diner that serves breakfast all day. She makes the best omelettes. I do like to just sit and watch people come and go . In small town Texas, gentlemen still exist . I have seen them go out of their way to help an elderly person in or out or into their car . People are friendly and kind to each other and some people will just come and sit down and talk to me ( they know who I am) . Usually it’s a legal question or to find out if I had seen any good bucks . I alway enjoy going up there .

I do this ALL THE TIME on weekends.

I'm more of a stay home and make good food person. lol
Going to make omelets in a while. Got the eggs free and most ingredients
I like in an omelet were in clearance. It's gonna be GOOOOOOD! :)

i love people watching... sunday brunch was good, or lunchtime any day.

I haven't done that, but I have written this before that on an individual level.....having worked at the beach for years as a Summer job, I had always enjoyed grabbing a coffee at the beach front mornings as the sun came up before opening the small parking lot I worked at, and walking over and sitting in one of the Adirondack chairs and watching the surf before the tourista's and the daily madness of beach goer's began each day.

I used to do that in Lansing, Michigan. I had started a group called the Lansing Dinner Club, and I used to go out by myself to sample restaurants before taking the group there.

When you go out by yourself there is a definite tendency to "people watch" and to read the paper or a book.

Not exactly. I used to do this on Saturday evenings for dinner years ago. But last night at 11:30pm I woke up and had the intense urge to get Taco Bell and then I ate it in a grocery store parking lot, so I think those combined count for something.

Especially when on vacations.

I people watch here 😊 I don't go out to eat. Don't go to malls or any crowded places.
But this weekend is the gaint flea market at the fair grounds...hope to be going there. Love seeing all the stuff and the people.

Yes, I have but the perfect places in which this can occur either do not have their lobbies open at the moment or you can only be there for a certain time because then I'd be loitering.

I love watching people ….I do this a lot

Just observe people during shopping / walking etc.

Best thing about it is seeing the smiles of young ones / toddlers / kids etc.

i would but my anxiety is too high in public, so anything involving leaving the safety of my apartment i find a difficult challenge.

I like to do that but here it’s not everyday possible. Few people unless some events are going on. No real sandy beaches either.

back when i had a driver's license i'd go to waffle house just to listen to music and watch strangers. then when the men would go to the restroom i'd follow and give them head in exchange for booze and drugs.

yes I enjoy the Impossible breakfast sandwich down at caribou coffee or just some overpriced donuts. however I don't look at people lest they might pass judgement
