He went online to see how much the merchandise was selling for on Amazon, got over $3000 worth of merchandise (many things in multiples) and I haven’t finished watching the video yet, he is still adding it up.

@Stereoguy No it was behind buildings with a lot of dumpsters in more of an industrial area where Mike drives to almost every day. Sometimes he finds big medical equipment that he recycles because it is full of metal to scrap, sometimes construction or remodeling materials like fluorescent lights or electrical boxes or industrial shelving or swimming pool pumps ,motors off of various items, plumbing scraps etc. He can get anywhere from $100-$300 a haul after he cleans it up and sorts it on a typical scrap run. But he also finds good things that he keeps for himself like tools, a bike, etc. or stuff to sell at yard sales, his wife told him to say how much they got but it is always a good chunk of change.

@Stereoguy It’ll wreck my back to try to pull that heavy stuff out of a dumpster, he is a lot younger and hops in and out of those dumpsters like nobody’s business…and he’s had at least a couple of injuries too, there is jagged metal and glass and who knows what else in those dumpsters.
