I hate hobbies.

It makes me feel like I'm not doing anything progressive or beneficial to my life even if i enjoy it

Does everything you do have to be “good for you”? It makes you happy, helps you enjoy life, probably even helps you make or maintain friendships, that’s how it’s good for you.
