Reaction to a steroid that affected my entire jaw, head and neck. Like a headache in every cell, that was awful.

Realizing that someone whom I had considered a dear friend wasn't really a friend at all.

That, and the pain I used to experience from my period, during junior high and high school. It seemed like more than I could bear.

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 I've never had children, but then I've never tried. I'm not married. The periods finally eased up when I was in my early 30's. But yes, they continued to be painful through my 20's. I hope that that isn't a sign of a condition that could cause infertility. Then again, it may be too late for me anyway. :(
