How horrible is it to be a female runner these days and having to constantly worry about your safety ?

It's rather commonplace in the US but I'm pretty sure its happening the world over. All because of the lesser evolved members of the male sex 🤷‍♀️

It is terrible, it's not uncommon to hear on the news of a rape or an attack on a female runner here. I wouldn't run by myself because of how often it happens around here. It's a sad world we live in.

@SW-User I'd imagine alot of women are arming themselves for self defense. Personally if that was me, I'd run there with a gun and I'd shoot to kill. Thin the herd of pigs

@DrScissorhands Yes some do but running with a gun isn't a great experience. I just go to the gym but I would prefer to go out on the trails if it was safer.

@SW-User I can imagine. Some women are buying treadmills because of it. It isn't quite the same

It's a concern in the UK too. Not just jogging but walking alone particularly at night. It's not like women are being abducted left, right and centre but it has happened enough to make women think twice.
