AT WHAT AGE DID YOU REALIZE YOUR OLD...,

I think around 25 I started reading about all the great things people had accomplished by that age, and I had/have accomplished sh*t my whole life.

@Lostpoet for some reason they want people in their twenties to think that they should be in a position to retire by the time they are 30. Like you should have already raised a family, have this astounding career, the perfect spouse, traveled all around the world. For the vast majority of people though that is far from realistic. So then of course we end up feeling like losers because we reach the age of 30 and our lives are still a joke or a mess.
The point is that you are not the only one who feels that way. Even people who seem to have their entire lives together are often up to their necks in debt or they end up losing everything because of a divorce or a layoff.
