Knee pain anyone?

Hurts on the inside of my left knee. If i sit it hurts. If i lay down it hurts. Putting a pillow under it while i'm on my back. Feels better after i walk a bit but then hurts more after i stop. Ibuprofen, aspirin, and acetaminophen don't do much for it. Afraid to go in to the doctor as they usually are pretty worthless and just send you a big bill. Icing it kind of helps. Wakes me up. I need zero G.

My left knee flared up yesterday evening as I was sitting down in a chair. Before that it was fine. I'm going to go to urgent care this afternoon. I'm wearing a knee brace and using a cane to help me walk. It's painful. It looks swollen.

@Diotrephes I went to the Urgent Care this afternoon and the doctor diagnosed it as a knee strain because of the osteoarthritis that I have in my left knee. She expects it will improve with some specific exercises and pain cream. If I continue to live I think there may come a day when I might have to get a new knee. My next door neighbor had to get one a couple of years ago.

@Diotrephes The pain in my left knee is almost gone. I've been using Voltaren arthritis pain cream that the urgent care doctor recommended.

@Tastyfrzz It seems to be working fine for me. I hope it works for you. They do caution not to use too much.
