Looked into this, and it seems there is some demonstrable benefit from turmeric, even in the form of gummies, to aid with inflammation. Excellent shout out - I plan to try them this week

There's some ladies at the gym that make a turmeric balm the put on in the sauna. She gave me some a few times and it totally helped some of my inflammation. Gaba did nothing for my pain.

Interesting. Never thought about it topically @Starcrossed

Honestly, YES!! I take Turmeric and Ginger gummies every day, and I can definitely tell the difference when I skip a day or run out.

I cook with it periodically, but as a flavor palette it gets old for me. I鈥檓 not super concerned about it being organic truthfully. I鈥檓 more concerned whether the gummy packs enough punch to be effective in any way. Ex: I use magnesium to chill out sometimes. I have this magnesium lemonade drink I really like. Figured I鈥檇 try a magnesium supplement. Didn鈥檛 do anything at all. @SW-User

Remember we live in a world where people pay for dirt.

Yeah, I usually shy away from the supplements for that reason, but my stepmother strongly recommended them after living with chronic pain for years. She鈥檚 a rather discerning woman who I would not describe at all as someone drawn to snake oil remedies or optimism haha. i鈥檓 still holding off judgment though. For all I know, this could鈥檝e just been a lucky week and in the near future I鈥檒l be curled into a ball 馃槄@MrBrownstone

@WhateverWorks Pharmaceutical companies are out for profits. You don鈥檛 hear about natural remedies for that reason.
WhateverWorks36-40
I don鈥檛 know about that. Granted, it鈥檚 definitely regional influenced, but where I live practically everyone loves the natural remedies market along with cannabis as the cure-all. I personally am not anti-holistic or anti-pharmaceutical. I will say that I鈥檝e had less luck with natural remedies than the western medicine options to treat issues. That said, I live a generally healthy life. I鈥檓 sure a lot of people would benefit from major lifestyle changes and improved nutrition/sleep/exercises etc. things Western medicine doesn鈥檛 prioritize enough. @MrBrownstone
